Senior Data Governor
Wat ga je doen?
You’ll be responsible for a wide range of duties to ensure our governance processes are efficient, streamlined and drive consistency and quality of data. You will expected to take the lead on key deliverables and provide direction to key stakeholders across the organization. You’ll uplift data management across T-Mobile and create trust in data to ensure a future-proof and data-driven organization.
To organize ourselves as a data driven company, we have to organize Data Governance. To drive this change and process we are looking for a Senior Data Governor. You will use your experience in managing the efficiency in people, processes, and technology to enable an organization to utilize all different kinds of data within a solid data governance framework.
The scope and responsibilities of this role are:
- Data Quality
Data is cross domain. We analyze and monitor data quality across domains and improve data processes. You are responsible for the proper design and execution of the Data Quality roadmap for all data-related systems. This includes technical, functional and process related data quality issues.
- Data Protection
The risk of incompliance or breaches increases. We continuously monitor and improve security and compliancy. You make sure that all our business users can use data in a compliant, safe, and usable way.
- Finding Data
Data is everywhere and ambiguous, we shorten time to find right data. Collibra is the data catalogue platform for data assets. It is used to capture information (metadata) about them, and govern these assets. You are responsible for the proper roll-out of Collibra and the implementation of the business roll-out. You make sure that that the proper products are in Collibra, and that the end users can find them.
- Data Literacy
Using data is a skillset. We educate people how to use and apply data. You are responsible for the program to educate the entire company. You setup the trainings, make sure training materials are available, identify the need for additional trainings and promote the trainings in the company.

The department Intelligence & Insights (I&I) is the central data and analytics department of T-Mobile, including its sub brands Tele2, Simpel and Ben. The goal of the department is to make T-Mobile more data driven. In this beating heart of T-Mobile, we are part of all major developments within the company.
Within I&I the department Business Intelligence Services (BIS) is crucial to the management teams in developing the foundation of BI, building up the compliance, data governance and harvest of a data driven culture company. As a team we provide insights to improve commercial products and processes.
We are a trusted partner for our stakeholders in delivering fact-based insights. We support all departments (Marketing, Customer Operations, Sales, Finance, Strategy etc.)
Wat breng je mee?
- University degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred. Beta domains;
- Ability to see and follow up business opportunities;
- Hands-on experience in Master Data Management, data governance, data analysis, data profiling, data quality and system integration;
- Experience working in Data catalogue, Data Lineage and Governance practices;
- Talent to communicate effectively with technical and business teams and drive issues to closure;
- Strong time management and organization skills;
- Stakeholder management on all levels;
- Deep understanding of data systems, landscapes, data policy, security standards and governance;
