Your Role:

• You are the platform owner and will own the AWS platform in every aspect -security, cost, access, improvement, services, solution.
• You will work with the “Cloud & Infra” team for rolling out/updating new/existing service and solution that is secured, scalable and meet the guidelines.
• You are answerable for the cost management (spikes due to operational issues, new project, and others) and provide justification or propose preventive action, as applicable.
• You will represent the data team in multiple forum (technical and non-technical) to understand the requirement, showcase the capability of the platform and others.
• Maintains a well-defined and prioritized product backlog, continuously refining it based on business needs and AWS advancements.
• You will own the technical, feature roadmaps along with release planning, sprint goals, and grooming both technical and business functionality that meets multiple development projects.
• It requires managing project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to meet expected deliverables.
• Works closely with development teams, principal engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and priorities.
• Establishes, develops, and maintains effective relationships with applicable project stakeholders (e.g., project team members, team leads, internal customers, functional SMEs, business partners, leadership).
• Leads the planning and coordination of product releases, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements in line with AWS best practices.
• Identifies and mitigates potential risks that may impact AWS cloud service development, release timelines, or overall success.
• Adheres to compliance and architectural standards requirements.
• Identifies and mitigates risks related to cloud infrastructure, such as security vulnerabilities or performance bottlenecks.
• Interacts with the development team to answer questions, provide feedback, and ensure that the product is being developed in alignment with the vision and requirements.

You bring this

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor and/or Master in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficient experience with AWS platform services.
• Knowledge in data complexity, AWS storage, processing, data warehousing, and cloud services.
• Prior experience in a technical (Product) leadership role, with aclearfocus on AWS platforms.
• AWS certifications (Associate or Professional level).
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex business cases into executable strategies.
• Experience in a leadership role, ready to evolve into a Product Owner or leverage your Data Engineering expertise.

Nice-to-Have’s:

• Background in Telecom (though not essential).
• Prior experience as a technical Product Owner.
